Uncanny Deja Vu

WOOHOO!!!!!! The very first signs of spring were observed out in our yard today!!! What makes this so cool, is that this is a reincarnation of the VERY SAME flower that came up in the VERY SAME spot last year, as the first bloom of the season....weird huh!

Last year's date was March 24th, so it looks like it bloomed two weeks earlier this year. Reading the post that followed it last year, I see the squirrels didn't give the poor little flower much of a chance. Hopefully this year, they will keep their little hands to themselves!!!!

The boys also spotted a robin and two blue jays in the yard this week as well....This was quite encouraging news to me. Although we have been lucky so far this winter (it's been a mild one)....I am looking VERY forward to the warmer spring weather!!!
