The Pulmonologist said she was able to rule out all of the things she was looking for in Tristan's chest x-ray. This is a good thing, however...now she is stumped. Not quite sure what to do to help him. She wants us to up his reflux meds (Prevacid) to 2x/day in addition to all the other things that he is on now....Singulair 1x/day, Xopenex 3-4x/day & more if needed , and Pulmicort 2x/day. She is hoping this will help. We are to call her in 5-7 days to let her know if this protocol is working. Then we will go from there.

He still can't have his surgery until they figure this all out, so please pray that his hernia will hold out just a little while longer. In the meantime, all we can do is wait to see if this med will work for him. The Pulmonologist is not convinced that it will, because she is not positive that Silent Reflux is definitely the issue...however it is worth trying.

We are waiting to hear from Jackson's Respiratory Therapist. He is supposed to have his Pulse Oximetry 24 Hour Oxygen Study this week, but no date has been given to me. I will call them in the morning, and update when I know more.
