Tristan will be having a chest x-ray tomorrow morning (Sat) to rule out secondary pneumonia, aspiration, collapsed lung, or a micoplasma infiltrate. It is also possible that he is suffering from Silent Reflux. He was placed on Prevacid back on Tuesday, but it hasn't had much time to kick in yet. The reflux could exacerbate his asthma symptoms.

If he did aspirate, then the Pulmonologist has to do some kind of scope under sedation on Tristan. The good news is, it could be done at the same time as the hernia surgery. The bad news is, he would have to have it done immediately. This is not good, because it brings us right back to the fact that he would have to go under anesthesia with all the wheezing and crackling.... EXACTLY what they wanted to avoid.

I am SOOO stressed out! Hopefully the Pulmonologist will be able to read the x-rays on Monday, and we can go from there.
