Truck Parade/Truck Brigade

Today we decided to take the boys to the NY State Fireman's Parade. This parade was about 3 hours long, and included fire companies from all over the NY Metro area. The coolest part of this event was that the parade route was only like 5 minutes from our house. The boys loved seeing all the different types of fire and rescue vehicles (old and new), as well as the bands with all their cool instruments. Tristan was trying to name each instrument as the bands went by. One particular bagpipe band marched by, and the boys asked: "Mommy, why do those men all have skirts on?"

After the parade, we went home to play with Stu's newest toy....A radio controlled monster truck!! The boys had a blast taking over the controls, as they have never played with one of these things before. I think Jackson got the biggest kick out of it, as you'll see in the PhotoShow below.

Then out to dinner with Stu's Mom, home to jammies, and off to bed!!!
