Tennis Anyone???

What a GLORIOUS day it was to be outside today!!!! We hit 74 degrees (for one day only), and were bound and determined to enjoy it while it lasts! Since we are still stuck at home during the day until Stu gets home....we decided to make the most of it, and go outside in the front yard.

The boys had a blast chasing balls and bubbles around for quite a while, then it was time for their OT session. Kate, their therapist, luckily agreed to hold session outdoors to take advantage of the fresh air and sunshine! They did some of their normal OT stuff, but then Kate went down to her car, and came back with a tennis racket. The boys were ecstatic!!! What a fun way to practice eye-hand coordination!!!

Of course every time Tristan and Logan would go to swing at the ball...they would close their eyes!! Amazingly, they were still making contact with the ball. And then there was Jackson...who just couldn't keep his tongue in his mouth. He's a real Michael Jordan...(every time Michael would go in for a lay-up...you could almost guarantee his tongue would be hanging out!) I guess that is his way of showing that he's concentrating super hard!

I was thrilled that the boys were able to spend so much time outside enjoying the day today! We were out for about three and a half hours running around in the yard..then went to my Cardiology appointment.. came home for dinner..then I had a Lia Sophia meeting to go to. I got home at 9:15, and was in bed out cold by 9:30!
