We ended up stuck at home the other day, but that ended up not being such a bad thing. We did some craft activities in the morning, then went outside for a couple of hours to PLAY!!!! Yes, it is January in NY, and I actually said that we in fact, went OUTSIDE to play....AND with only light jackets on too.
The boys had a ball pretending like they were a beaver family...collecting sticks from all over the yard to make a beaver dam with. (I don't know where they get this stuff!!) Then they got the bright idea that they could roll down the "hill" in our yard like meatballs. You should have seen them trying to get up and walk after that!
It's actually going to be 66 degrees today....amazing for this time of year in NY, but of course it rained all night and everything is soaked outside. At least maybe we'll get to go for a walk, so that we can enjoy this unseasonable warmth while we still have it.
