A Look and a Book

I drug took Logan to his follow-up appointment with the ENT Surgeon today, and once the doctor was finally able to look in his ears and down his throat (it took me plus 2 other nurses to hold him down so she could look) ...she said he looks GREAT!!! The only thing now pending, is a post-op hearing test next week. She wants to see him again in 3 months, and then once again in 6 months for checkups to make sure the tubes remain in place.

As crabby as he was at the doctors office, Logan was so excited to get home, because he got to choose ANYTHING he wanted for dinner. He has not been able to eat anything but soft, mushy, bland food since the surgery, so I was quite curious to see what he was going to choose. Logan chose to have ravioli, baked ziti, and garlic bread for dinner. He wasn't able to eat it during his recovery period due to the fact that the tomato sauce was too acidic for his throat. Let's just say that he ate quite a large dinner tonight.

Here are some pictures from Story Time at Barnes and Noble this week. The boys love to go sing songs, and listen to the story lady read books to all the kids. She is there two mornings a week, and is very good at getting all the kids involved. There is usually a good number of kids who attend each week, however this week was noticeably less crowded due to the holidays. Here you can see the boys singing and participating in a rousing rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. (Click for a larger view)

I am so glad to read that he is back to his happy, normal self in time for the holidays!
