Today we celebrated their special day by surprising the boys and taking them into NYC for the first time (aka..."The City") via the Long Island Railroad (their first time on a real train) .... followed by a ride on the Subway (their first subway ride) over to the American Museum of Natural History (aka... a REALLY BIG dinosaur museum!!!).
We spent all day at the museum, and WOW was there a lot to see. They had some really elaborate and expansive exhibits, and some of the ones we enjoyed the most were of course, The Dinosaurs, The Hall of Ocean Life, and the Creatures of the North America Woodlands.
Our original plans had been to go into the city, and go to The Central Park Zoo instead...but Mother Nature had other ideas. The wind and rain kept us from being outdoors today, but what a phenomenal "Plan B" this was. Oh yeah...we did not take any strollers into the city with us, so you better believe it when I tell you that the boys crashed hard at bedtime tonight!!!! :)

Happy happy happy birthday Jackson, Logan and Tristan. I am glad you all enjoyed the day. Sounds like it was lots of fun. Its good and bad that they grow up so fast...you can do so much more with them and they enjoy it, but then they are not our little babies anymore.
