It's called Kid Knex. They are like a modern day Tinker Toy set...and all three boys just can't get enough of them. They received one small set for their birthday from Uncle Howie and Aunt Jodi...and since then, we have purchased two more sets to add to the collection. One small and one large. The sets come with pictures of all kinds of super cool creatures you can create with the pieces...and the boys really have caught on pretty quickly as how to recreate these creatures on their own. The boys also had their 3 Year Visit at the Ped's office. Here are Jackson, Logan, and Tristan's respective stats for anyone keeping track out there:
Weights: J= 28.5lbs, L= 32 lbs, T= 30.5 lbs
Heights: J= 35 1/4", L= 36 1/2", T= 37 1/2"
This visit happened to be a "naked" visit... We were in the exam room while the nurse is taking all their stats (ie..temp, bp, ears, etc..), she asks me if the boys are potty trained yet. I said that they go on the potty quite often, however we have not yet officially begun training. She then asks me if I thought they would pee in a specimin cup. I said, "I don't know, why don't you ask them."
Of course they couldn't wait...so all three of them quite excitedly stripped down completely naked and asked for their cups. What a sight to see...all three of them bent over holding cups out in anticipation for their pee pees to come out. Nobody actually went, but that did not sit well for them, because they refused to put their clothes back on for the whole rest of the almost 2 1/2 hour long visit. It was hilarious, and our wonderful Ped luckily was quite amused...although he did say that it was a first for him.
Oh yes...they did finally get dressed when it was time to go, and no...sadly no pee pees ever came out....luckily not even on the floor of the Ped's office.
